Gig in the Gog- 15 September

Yes, Gig in the Gog is on again this Sunday, and it promises to be a fun one! This Gig, we’ll be selecting performing artists to perform at the opening of our Annnual Exhibition on 4th October.

But of course participation in this week’s Gig in the Gog isn’t limited to people interested in performing at the opening! As always, Gig in the Gog is for everyone. Come along and listen, clap or sing along, play, recite, dance, juggle, contort, tell jokes… surprise us with your talents!

To pay the selected performers at the Annual Exhibition opening, Performing Artists Dungog (PAD) have donated $200, and guests at Gig in the Gog have added another $50 to the total, so the artists chosen to perform at the opening will receive a share of $250, plus whatever donations come in at this week’s Gig.

This opportunity is open to everyone- all ages, living in and outside Dungog Shire, members and non members of DAS- performers just need to be available to perform at the exhibition opening, 6.30-8.30, Friday 4th October, 2024. Performers will each be allocated time at the exhibition opening for a short set/act/performance, depending on how much time they need, and how much is available. But as an approximate idea, we’re suggesting no longer than 20 minutes.

We’ve also purchased more chairs this week, so there will be more seats available!
